Life's a story, what does yours say?;)

What's your story? Care to share? ;)

Like I mentioned in my one of my previous posts, blogging is a great way to store the memories you've accumulated over the years. Someday... maybe 5, or even 10 years later, you'll come back to what you've written, and realise, " wow, this is how much I've changed!". :D

Everyone's life is a story... a story that has yet to be finished.
We humans are not accustomed to have super memory. And as time goes on, there's bound to be memories that you forget. It's inevitable to forget snippets of your story...

My story up to now isn't particularly interesting, but I'd like to write it down here:)
Because someday in the future, I'll read over this post ... smiling.

My dad has a job that requires him to move countries ever so frequently. I guess.. that's a good thing, because I get exposed to a lot. But at the same time, it's tiring.

Geneva, Switzerland was where I was born in. Normally, for other people, their birthplace is the country they're most familiar with. But haha.. for me it's the complete opposite. I have absolutely no memories of it, mainly due to the fact that we left that country two year afters I was born.
Well... you can guess, it's the country I've most wanted to visit since young:)

This is how my story starts:)

I was born in a hospital called Grangettes.

This is how crazy my hair used to be...defying gravity haha! XD

Not long after, we moved to New York. My little sister was born there:) I was around 3.

I seriously cannot remember much ,  but there was one girl in preschool who hated me because my hair wasn't long enough haha!
I experienced my first Halloween trick or treating over there:)
But with happy memories come bad memories... 9th September 2001, we were in New York.

At the age of five, my dad accepted a posting to Paris. So... we moved again.

I went to the international school of Paris ( ISP) , primary school was so so stress free.
Everyday, the teachers would bring us out for walks .... I think primary school over there was just 6 hours of playing time haha! :D

After 5 years in Paris, we moved to Singapore.
_
_

Reality hit me hard in the face. I've always loved Singapore. Whilst living in other countries, I've always enjoyed the little holiday trips back there.
But then... living in Singapore was a whole new experience.
I was academically challenged...and it wasn't easy for me to fit in with the other students.
For the first year, I didn't really have many friends. Because I was known as the girl with the " weird accent" . In Singapore , hardly anyone joins in the middle of the school year.
There was one thing I was good at, and that was Chinese. I have to thank my Chinese teachers there for giving me so many opportunities to represent the school in oratorical competitions.

In primary 5, I wasn't as lonely, and I had a great group of friends!:) I know some of you are reading this, I love you guys <3<3 See you soon...

Singapore is a beautiful place, and I do miss it a lot.

Finally moving on, 3 years later.... AUSTRALIA!

There is such an awesome community over here. People here are so open to things:) and the beautiful friends that I have are the reason why the past 3 years for me have been marvellous!  I am still unable to accept the fact that I'll be leaving this stunning place so so soon...

So there you go, my unfinished story:) A story that has yet to reach it's climax.

I'll end this post off with a quote,
“The tale of someone's life begins before they are born.”- Michael Wood

Thank you so so much for reading my blog:)

Before I sign off, I want to mention that this post is highly influenced by my friends' blog post
Please do check out both their blogs, if you haven't by now!:D
They are 2 very amazing people:)

  15. THAT IS SO COOL! I've only ever lived in the US. My best friend is a world traveler (shes currently in Brazil.) and I would love to visit other countries....but I dont know if I could ever move around like that and never have a single country to call home.
But boy that must be exciting! Thanks for sharing that with us:)
