The light had gone out in her eyes. Her face was blank. Written on her forehead were the words, " life doesn't mean a thing to me anymore.". She gave off a dull sullen aura, and everyone around her could sense it. It seemed like her response organs were no longer intact.. she was unresponsive to whatsoever thing that happened around her. Sooner or later, if she happened to see her own reflection in the mirror, she would be shocked by her own unkempt appearance.
But no, that wasn't the end of the story. She picked herself up, wiped away the tears and stood strong just to see a better tomorrow, a better her.
Everyone has their ups and downs in their life.
There are good moments, but there are also bad ones...
I mean, sometimes you just cannot predict what's about to happen in your life.
Nothing isn't perfect
No matter how hard you try, it's impracticable to wish for happiness everyday.
There will forever be something that stirs up the " sadness " in you.
But of course, life is so much easier if you know what to do with yourself when your not having the best day!:)
This is just a list of things I came up with to help you when you're feel sad or dejected. Who knows? Maybe the situation isn't as bad as it seems. Remember, you're never alone! ❤
Expressing your feelings through simply a paper and pen is so much more effective than you think it is. Don't you feel better when you get someone to listen to your problems? Well in this case, make the paper listen to all of it. :)
Take a walk, go for a run or even doing simple cardio at home can make you feel much more refreshed and uplifted. I like to go for short 10 minute works around my neighborhood whenever I have things to sort out in my mind, it works like magic. :)
3. Interact with pet/s! ( If you have one)
Birds, fishes, cats, dogs, anything! They don't judge, they don't hate.... instead they love with all their heart. Animals are beautiful creatures, they have the talent to bring you back to the happy world! I love my birds. <3
4. Call a friend!!!!!!
Talk to this special someone that you trust. Someone that understands you and has the ability to support you throughout the bad times in your life. :) When your friend is upset, you will try everything to help him/her right? Your friend will do the same for you!:D
5. The arts
Get in touch with your artistic side! Maybe draw, maybe paint, maybe play an instrument.
Playing the piano definitely brightens my mood when I'm feeling down.
6. Watch a movie, don't forget the junk food!
It is proved that eating can make you happier and less vulnerable to sad emotions .Just remember.. not too much;)
Watching a good movie never fails to make you feel better too.<3
7. Go take a shower!
Isn't everything 10 times better when your clean?;)
I'm sure everyone is familiar with listening to music to brighten up moods, but I still feel like I shouldn't leave it out!:D
Listen to beautiful music.
Chopin's nocturnes make me so much happier after I listen to them!
9. Positive thinking!
Think of your positive qualities, think of all the people that love and appreciate you!:) Everything is not as bad as it seems.. Haha my friend's are so good at instilling positive thinking's in me. Yes it's you A.P. <3
