Sometimes... can we just run away?- I've got a war in my mind

We all make hundreds of decisions ever day...
from the moment we get out of bed, to the moment we lower our eyelids into slumber.

Making hard decisions is like figuring out how to walk out of a labyrinth.
It hurts your brain...but once you get it right, you're good.

I'm not a good decision maker.. I tend to act on emotional responses, and they usually lead to bad consequences. That usually happens when I'm too tired or in a state when I'm not thinking rationally.

Poor judgement causes bad decisions.
And we all know bad decisions can change your life forever. Okay, it might not be physically, but emotional scars are hard to heal.

“Trust your instincts, and make judgements on what your heart tells you. The heart will not betray you.”
― David GemmellFall of Kings

People can betray..but the heart will never.

I hate making difficult decisions... but that's just a part of life, isn't it?

I hope all of you enjoyed your valentines day!
Have a beautiful day, make good decisions.

  1. I am the worst at making decisions because no matter what I choose I regret not making the other decision. Decisions shape us as human's and it may seem like making the wrong decision might alter your life forever but making the right one could also brighten your future which ends up putting all this pressure on you but ultimately it's not the large decisions that shape us as human's but all the little decisions we make on our path on our journey to the big decision xx

    1. Well said :)) I agree with every word. One bad decision doesn't mean the end, it is the many little decisions that make up the most.:)

  2. "The hardest thing in life is to know which bridge to cross and which to burn."
Can I just say that this is so so true. And your words are so on point. Lovely post xx.

  4. I have so many feeling up inside my head, but I try not to act on most of them. Unfortunately, that means they usually build up inside me. It's helpful to keep a journal for that.

  5. Decisions are probably the hardest thing you will have to make in your life. But then again, our lives depend on them, so it has to be this way.

  6. Decisions are hard. I'm a lot like you, making decisions depending on how I feel. that's the reason why it's hard when people elect me to be a group leader for projects; I'm pretty laid back and make sure people are on task, but when I get frustrated, I end up just making irrational decisions. We have to think through sometimes past our emotions. And just because our emotions get in the way of our judgements sometimes doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad thing.

  8. I'm always so indecisive. It's hard to make a decision for me because I don't even know which path is the right one.

  9. June!! How have I managed to miss two of your posts!? We really do have to make so many decisions, important or not. Everything we do is a decision made. I think you should just go with the motto "no regrets" even though we have them, what has been done has been done. Keep moving forward. What will your next decision be? Where or what do you want next?

  14. I once asked one of my friends what he thought it meant to be an adult, and he said: "When you can make decisions without panicking." I think he's right. I still panick.
    Great post (:
